For the past twenty years, the artists and artisans of South Pender Island (pop. 250) located in the Salish Sea between Vancouver and Victoria have invited locals and visitors into our studios and galleries on Easter Sunday afternoon to see what we've created over the winter months. 

This Easter was to have been the 21st annual Art Walk; the artists, this year there are fourteen of us, have worked hard to create new work and ready our studios for Easter visitors. It’s the event that kicks off the tourist season for us; it results in many sales and commissions for the participants striving to lead sustainable lives as creatives. 

Because most of our studios and galleries are small and don’t lend themselves to social distancing, we took the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event to protect all concerned. With this submission we’re providing a taste of what we do and inviting the world to visit us online this Easter Sunday.
