Bio from the Artist: I draw from my day to day experiences to fabricate stories, and then I put sounds, words, and images together to tell those stories the way I believe they should be told. I enjoy ambiguity. The sounds might pull you in various directions and the words in some other, while the images are conveying a whole different story. Layered together, they give birth to pieces that can take you down a new path each time you listen to them.

I started 2020 with a busy touring schedule for DEEV and two other bands that I’m involved in. The world went into lockdown three days before kicking off the tour, and a year later we still have to patiently wait. Performing has been my main source of income and also my main emotional outlet for the past decade, so not having it around has taken its toll on me, but I’ve managed to find some new ways to survive through this long pause.

CW: Strobe-like flashing lights

Description provided by Artist: In my most recent release, MORON, I put me against me; I become the antagonist of my own story, and through that I explore themes of duality, pain, love, trust, guilt, and ego, among many others. The album is my first full length release with vocals, and although all my works are immensely personal, this one reveals the most about my internal battles.

All songs written, produced and performed by DEEV

Mixed and mastered by Josh Eastman at Helm Studios
