The Hopscotch

Toronto, Ontario, CANADA/Belgrade, SERBIA - You know we love long distance collaboration here, and this is such a beautiful example! Sent to us by Toronto-based director and creative producer on the this project, Stefan Dzeparoski, The Hopscotch is a beautiful meditation on love during these socially distant times. See for yourself!

From the submission:

The transmedia project The Hopscotch is a brain child of @plots.plays. Based in Belgrade, Serbia @plots.plays is a creative start-up at the intersection of digital and live arts education. It is run by passionate entrepreneurial coupleIvan Ivan Jancovic and Teodora Jankovic. The Hopscotch video here is a result of international collaboration in the time of pandemic. The project is inspired by the famous M.Scot Peck book “People of The Lie”. The pandemic interrupted this valuable project. Without ability to travel and work in direct contact the entire creative activity has shifted on-line. The Hopscotch is about love in times of lies and evil. @plots.plays were passionately collaborating with Toronto based director and creative producer Stefan Dzeparoski, multimedia artist Shomee Chakrabarty, with the creative support from BirdLand Theatre-when pandemic closed the world. The Hopscotch is about creativity, art and mental health. In the days that will come after the pandemic the connection between art, creativity, and mental health will have more prominent place in our daily lives. We must talk about mental health through art and creativity.
