“Hand at the Museum”

Philadelphia, USA - Sean Thomas Boyt  is a dancemaker, dancer, and dance advocate based out of Philadelphia. Their work consists of a shifting combination of classical composition structures, nontraditional material generation, and theatrically-inclined performances.  Sean enjoys collaboration with other artists and working with video, improvisation, and text. Andy Thierauf is a Philadelphia based percussionist who specializes in the creation and performance of contemporary music. He is particularly interested in combining percussion with theater, dance, and technology. For the past seven years, these two collaborators have been creating work that spans a variety of genres by using dance and percussion as mediums for engaging performance art. “Hand at the Museum” is a quarantined version of a percussion and dance duet set for performance on April 3rd at the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia.
