Cipriano Ortega’s “Jizz Jazz”

Denver, USA - COVID -19 prevented Cipriano Ortega’s song series from being performed and filmed before a live audience. Instead, Cipriano has posted a rehearsal of his show: a political cabaret that is a musical commentary on the society we live in today. The main character Mr. Mundane, is thrown into a world of numb ritual and consequently looses his mind. This song ,”Jizz Jazz,” is a commentary on Cipriano’s relationship to prescription drugs and his own mental health. The destruction of the suit is his struggles with being Apache and living in a colonized world. You can find more of his work here.
